Somehow I felt miserable last night and recoursed myself to a good amount of proven remedy – alcohol. It worked well. I passed out quickly and woke up this morning with a painful hangover that is still putting weight onto my brain.
So far, my hangover involves a combination of headache, burning stomach, thirst, nausea, fatigue and a feeling of wretchedness. It has got to the point that I spent a good part of afternoon searching the Internet for a cure for hangover. Apparently, there are pills to help you. Take one of these and you can rock all night: NoHang, PartySmart, HangoverStoper, RU-21 (Are you 21). They are legal drugs, by the way.
The benefit of alcohol is of course undeniable. I don't subscribe to the idea that alcohol make you do thing that you shouldn't do. I think, the power of alcohol is to disinhibit. It is sort of a liquid courage that allows us to do things we've always wanted to (give someone a finger, or make a go for another man's woman, or going home with a questionable company, etc…). When we drink, and are drunk, there is a good feeling that we have found truth about life. The world seems nicer and people - more honest. There is also a speculation that alcohol intoxication may have been one of the phenomena likes death, fire, storm that brought people together and drove civilization toward organized religion. Cool, huh?
On another related subject, I checked out VnExpress – Tam Su today because it is healthy to seek out people who are more miserable when you are down. This has been studied academically, too. Face it, who would check VnExpress – Tam Su while being happy anyway. This caught my eyes

The idea that pornography has something to do with infidelity has been around for ages, whether it's an inevitable feature of male and whether it is demeaning to women or it is a threat to a happy marriage.
To these housewives, my advice is to get over it. All men consume porn. If a man says he doesn't look at porn, either he is lying or he is castrated. There is nothing you can do to stop a man from porn, even your tear. If you can't get over it, my another advice is to become a les
bian, get a cat, or best….get a blind guy. This is one of the few things that can not be resolved through communication or marriage therapy.
With a flash of genius, I just realized I probably have pissed off a lot of female readers, so here is my redemption. Instead of a typical giant breast distraction, I give you the most powerful midget of Hollywood, Tom Cruise in Toronto looking rather bad. He reportedly lost his blackberry today. Some Canadian out there now has access to his private information. We are eager to know some truth about Scientology. Any minutes now….
Treasure Bond yield reaching zero (or even negative) has made a lot of people uneasy, including me. Put simply, people are willing to lock in loss on their investment in order to guarantee that they would get most of their money back. The indication is no banks are safe anymore. A scarier indication is as people are too scared to put their money into anything but Treasure bills, there will be no money available else where for the sorts of financial activity that would get the economy going again. The US government can see this as a good thing, because it now have free money to inject where it wants, but it is an absolute horror to the rest of the world. Money is pouring into the US from all directions, leaving other markets dry. Thus, while the US T-bond yields is reaching zero, for the rest of the world, bonds is going nowhere but up. Let it sink a bit. All trains are heading for Washington now.
